  Socialism is evident in American Education. Recently, socialist policies have come under attack. I got a good education at the public High School in Millville, NJ. Millions of Americans attend public schools between Kindergarten and Grade 12. And many of us go on to state universities for additional studies. All of these schools are funded by taxpayers. K-12 are free except for the cost of personal supplies. State universities get funds from taxpayers, student tuition, grants, and investments. In addition to public schools, wealthy people who send their children to private schools also get socialist tax-breaks. Nonprofit institutions do not may taxes, which places a burden on workers and businesses to cover all the things our taxes pay for. I think it is a good thing for all members of a democratic society to have a basic education. I might disagree on the components of a basic education and how many years a person should get at tax-payer expense, but I believe public ed...

Wisconsin Man Shot by Police Everyday, American police put their lives on the line to keep communities safe from violence. Many deal with the trauma of urban combat for years--trauma that affects their minds and relationships. America needs a strong blue line. Police Officers Shot in Philadelphia Headlines reveal black families torn by grief as another loved one lies before us gunned down by a police officer. The traumatic scene is an image played on the minds of children, spouses, and parents. The hole in the heart lasts a lifetime. American police can be judged unfairly by the lurid and obscene violence of a few officers. American protesters can be judged unfairly by the destructive and wanton destruction of family businesses and cars. Racism exists and must be protested when racists show their fists.   QAnon offers a religious worldview, that has won the minds of some conservative American Christians. Katelyn Beaty ( 2020, August 17 ) opines “Once the fascination of far-right commentators and their followers, QAnon is no longer fringe.” Argentino calculates a huge increase in QAnon content ( 2020, July 8 ). I have been researching the QAnon movement since 2018. Based on my most recent social media analysis, QAnon has seen a 71 per cent increase in Twitter content and a 651 per cent increase on Facebook since March 2020. New Religious Movements (NRMs) used to be called cults, but behavioral scientists have dropped the term cult because of its negative connotation. Religious scholars remind us that at one time Christianity was considered a cult.
